Strength & Low‑Impact Cardio

Build functional strength and endurance to prepare for labour and motherhoodShow images of clients doing squats with light weights, resistance band exercises or gentle cardio movements.

Community & Celebration

Build friendships with other moms‑to‑be. At the end of the program, enjoy a fun baby‑shower celebration with gifts and treats

Pelvic‑Floor & Core

Learn how to properly engage your core and pelvic floor to prevent diastasis recti, improve posture and reduce incontinence

I’m Krystal Schouten, your Pelvic Floor Fitness Specialist and founder of Fitness Reset in Brantford and I’ve spent the last 10 years helping women build strong foundational cores, prevent leaking, and move without pain through pregnancy and postpartum.

I work alongside pelvic floor physiotherapists and have been a guest speaker at dozens of women’s health events across Brantford and surrounding communities. I’m also the host of Potty Talk — a podcast where we bust the myths and break the stigma around pelvic floor health.

I created Fitness with Fetus because I saw too many women in Brantford searching for safe prenatal fitness classes — unsure what exercises were safe during pregnancy, afraid to lift weights, and wanting more than just “take it easy” advice. There wasn’t a strength-focused prenatal workout that truly supported the pelvic floor, core connection, and preparation for birth.

Fitness with Fetus is your space to build strength during pregnancy, learn proper breath and pressure management, and feel confident in your changing body — all inside a supportive prenatal fitness community in Brantford.

    Fitness with Fetus is designed for all fitness levels — whether you were active before pregnancy or you’re just getting started. Every class includes guided instruction, clear demonstrations, and modifications so you can move at a pace that feels good for your body.

    The focus isn’t on how “fit” you are — it’s on helping you build strength, improve mobility, and feel more connected to your body throughout pregnancy.

    All equipment is provided at the studio, so you just need to bring yourself in comfortable clothing that you can move and breathe in.

    We use a variety of supportive tools to help you build strength safely, improve mobility, and feel good in your body — without needing to think about what to bring or prepare.

    Exercises are thoughtfully adapted for each stage of pregnancy, including the third trimester. As your body changes, your workouts will too.

    As a certified prenatal and pelvic floor fitness specialist, I guide you through safe, effective movements that support your core, posture, and overall strength — while also helping you prepare your body for labour and delivery.

    Every class is designed with your safety (and your baby’s) in mind.

  • Life happens — especially during pregnancy.

    If you miss a class, I will add a Fitness with Baby class credit to your account so you can use it once your baby arrives.
