Strength & Low‑Impact Cardio

Build functional strength and endurance to prepare for labour and motherhoodShow images of clients doing squats with light weights, resistance band exercises or gentle cardio movements.

Community & Celebration

Build friendships with other moms‑to‑be. At the end of the program, enjoy a fun baby‑shower celebration with gifts and treats

Pelvic‑Floor & Core

Learn how to properly engage your core and pelvic floor to prevent diastasis recti, improve posture and reduce incontinence

I’m Krystal Schouten, your Pelvic Floor Fitness Specialist and founder of Fitness Reset in Brantford and I’ve spent the last 10 years helping women build strong foundational cores, prevent leaking, and move without pain through pregnancy and postpartum.

I work alongside pelvic floor physiotherapists and have been a guest speaker at dozens of women’s health events across Brantford and surrounding communities. I’m also the host of Potty Talk — a podcast where we bust the myths and break the stigma around pelvic floor health.

I created Fitness with Fetus because I saw too many women in Brantford searching for safe prenatal fitness classes — unsure what exercises were safe during pregnancy, afraid to lift weights, and wanting more than just “take it easy” advice. There wasn’t a strength-focused prenatal workout that truly supported the pelvic floor, core connection, and preparation for birth.

Fitness with Fetus is your space to build strength during pregnancy, learn proper breath and pressure management, and feel confident in your changing body — all inside a supportive prenatal fitness community in Brantford.

  • Before I met Krystal, I didn’t know much about pelvic floor health. I often felt alone, confused about what was happening in my body, and I adjusted my life to avoid situations where I would leak. That meant missing out on most things I loved - all I kept hearing was that this was normal after having children. Unfortunately not knowing led to further issues. Working with Krystal changed everything. Through her workshop and Body Reset Method, I learned how the pelvic floor, diaphragm, and my whole body work together. The breathing techniques and release methods she taught me were absolute game changers.   • The Body Reset Method was exactly what I needed in my life after sustaining a back injury from simply bending over to wipe my dogs paws 2 years ago-I have always worked out and considered myself in decent shape-little did I know I was weaker than I thought —I was an "all or nothing, no pain-no gain" mindset for my entire life, which I found in my 40's to be a detriment to my body- I would plow through workouts and it wasn't until the Body Reset Method that I realized that I had never been doing a squat or a lunge properly ever! This program literally helped me heal from the inside out, improving my posture, core strength and pelvic floor -I have never felt so much glute engagement in my life and love how this program has improved my daily function — I lift a laundry basket up with my glutes instead of my back now and have become so much more aware and cognizant of my everyday movements —Krystal is the best!
